On Site Audit Completed

The audit for the Center for Forest and Wood Certificaiton's Forest Management Forest Stewardship Council and American Tree Farm System and Chain-of-Custody Forest Stewardship Council and Sustainable Forestry Initiative group certificates was completed on December 19-23, 2011. Preliminary results from the audit indicate no major corrective action requests for group management for both chain-of-custody and forest management. All charter members of the chain-of-custody and forest management groups passed their audits with only minor changes requested by the auditor.  The Center believes that the certificates will be finalized and a license number issued in the next week or two.
